  • Jericoh Blade Works Reflection Mk VII

Meet the Jericoh Blade Works Reflection Mk VII. Primarily designed as a combat knife yet still robust enough to tackle regular camp chores. The 7" blade features a fully sharpened top edge to aid penetration and a recurve lower edge for efficient slashing. Both upper are lower bevels and edges are single side convex ground.

The Reflection Mk VII is ground from USA made 1/4" thick 1095 high carbon steel that has been heat treated, triple tempered and cryogenically treated to a Rockwell hardness of 58. This provides a good balance of edge retention and ease of sharpening in the field.

2 different patinas are available as well as satin finish. Shadow patina is a deep charcoal gray with tiger stripes and Desert patina forms a pattern of grays and browns. Both patinas help ease maintenance needs in the field as well as look pretty cool.

Reflection features a skullcrusher butt or can be ordered with a rounded tang. it comes clad in tan or black G10 handles or Elephant Skin, which is the name for Jericoh Blade Works' paracord wrapped handle.

Designed from the ground up as a combat knife, the grip is a full 5" to afford enough room for multiple grip options. Finger hole design and sculpting along the spine help to keep the hand in place and away from the blade edge. Also the top edge is ground shorter than the lower edge so if something goes wrong with a thrust and their is forward hand movement there is less of a chance of you hand meeting razor honed steel.

The Reflection comes with a custom fitted .093" Concealex sheath in tan or black to match the grips. It also comes standard with a Bladetech Tek-Lok to make mounting to a belt or pack easy.

Man, I want one of these knives....I just don't know which one to get.

Maybe the Guardian with the G10 grips.

Actually if you are interested in Guardian hold out for a little bit. The Generation III Guardian just went through prototyping and will be in the next batch of steel to hit the grinder.

Sweet looking knife. Out of curiosity, how much does it weigh?
