    Default US Model of 1917 Remington, caliber .30-06

    This is my only WWI weapon. It is estimated that 60% of our boys carried these in the "Great War" due to the shortage of '03 Springfields.

    This one is a Remington with a mixture of Eddystone and Winchester parts, indicating rebuild post-war. But, this one has a barrel date of 5-1918, so it could have been "over there".

    Yeah, I traded it off, in a fit of stupidity. And then I traded that gun, too. But now I'm satisfied with what I ended up with, so maybe I wasn't so stupid after all? :D
