    Default German Mauser K98k 7.92x57

    I picked this one up a while back and still haven't gotten around to shooting it. It sure looks pretty and handles well, though.

    It is a Russian captured CE42. The numbers are electro-penciled matching, so it's not much of a collector gun. The bore is the best I've seen on the few K98's I've handled. I really need to find time to shoot some of my C&R rifles....

    I haven't ever owned a Mauser but have had an 6.5 British that was a good shooter killed several Deer with it way back in 1958-1961 Sure wish I would have kept that Gun
