Default Cal: Multi is what my Oly says

Cal: Multi is what my Oly says

I just today got my first AR. Olympic K3B 16" Carbine.

Since the side of the magazine well says Cal Multi, am I to assume it can shoot .233 or 5.56 w/o problem?

Also, I wish the adjustable stock was a couple of inches longer wheen extended. Does anyone know of a longer one?

Its marked Multi because in some states you can run into problems if it's marked 223 or 556 and you have another caliber upper on it, from what I understand.

Most ARs will shoot either 556 or 223, but it has nothing to do with the markings on the side. Just depends on how the chamber was cut.

I dont know of any longer colapsable stocks. I'm 6'4 and dont normally shoot with the stock fully extended. Honestly if you need a longer stock, your probably shouldering it wrong.

look at your barrel markings(the lower doesnt matter), if it is marked 5.56 then you can shoot both 223 and 556. If the barrel is marked 223 you can ONLY SHOOT 223 in it.

I checked and right in front of the front sight is stamped - 5.56.

I can shoot .223 or 5.56, but I'll probably stay with .223 and reload them, too.
