Thread: Help me understand uppers and lowers.

I have no experience with upper and lowers.

I got Obamitis and a couple days ago bought an Olympic K3B AR 15 off gunbroker.

It comes with an upper and a lower - I know that much.

But why are folks trying to buy another upper or another lower.

with a new uper you can essentialy make it another gun. for example you can buy an upper in 6.8 or 5.7x28, ect.

Cool, now that sounds intriguing. But after this purchase - I'm broke.
