I gotta try this - bump firing.

I had never heard of bump firing before I stumbled onto a video on YouTube.

Gotta try it once. I don't plan to do it much, waste of ammo.

And I'm gonna be by myself at the hunting property I own. Don't want to risk hurting any bystanders.

I may get a visit for an LEO to see who is shooting a full-auto. I'll just show him/her what I'm doing and let them inspect the AR to see that it is a semi-auto, not modified to be full auto.

My main concern is the AR itself. I don't want to damage the barrel, action, etc. So, I'm not gonna do it a lot, that is, if I can do it at all.

Don't waste your time and money. It's completely and utterly useless in any real world application.

I find it to be a lot more fun to actually HIT what I shoot at.

If you find a lot of misses to be entertaining go for it. Poor folks like me gotta make every round count.

I got my AR and the Owners Manual said the rate of fire should be 12 -15 rds per minute and that to exceed that rate may cause the barrel to overheat and become damaged.

So, I am not even gonna try it.
