Thread: 7.62x25 Tok build....

Well I ask Ron today if he was able to do a 7.62x25 Tok barrel for my newest project and he said yesThank you sir...........

He said he could do it in stainless steel so, I went with that since some of the surplus ammo is corrosive. It's going to be .750 contour and 10 inches in length. He also has to open up the bolt and make a custom gas tube.


Now if Marty will hurry up with that mag adapter I'll be set.

I ordered six of the PPs-43 mags today and 1224rds of the Romanian ammo.

Anybody else interested in something like this?

Yes............a gas operated one. If everything goes as planned maybe I can finish it by January.

Alright Jack! We will need to play with the gas system some but she will run. It all depends on the surplus you have weather we can run stock components or will need a light buffer/spring. I can put the gas port within 1.5" of the chamber & I see no problems. As for the mag adapter, Send a mag & I have a feeling I can make a mag adapter to solve your problem. Oh yea, I take it you have a GOLD card? Ammo, cheap. Upper, do you realy want to know

I'll send a 72rd box of ammo and a magazine. You do mean a pps-43 mag right?

No GOLD card......

Yep, the pps-43 mag. Ill get the blank ordered so I can get started after thanksgiving. Building the mag adapter will keep me busy in between things.
