Official release and pricing is supposed to happen at SHOT. This scope is exactly what I have been looking for. It seems perfect for a RECON rifle.

Looks like something I might need!
i just hope the price isn't insane. I can see it being comperable in price to an ACOG though.
I too hope the price isn't insane.
I have a 30mm LaRue mount and ever since I got it I've been saving up for an Accupoint.
This may replace my choice upon some conditions.
- If the price is right
- If I can do something similar to BAC as with an ACOG or Accupoint
I'd be VERY impressed if it featured a computer program with built in scales similar to the Brunton ballistic scope. Where you can punch in a factory load, a zero distance on the center reticle, a temperature and sea level and it would give you a distance corresponding to each bar in the bullet drop compensator.
That would be cool.
On a similar not I know Leupold does custom BDC reticles for a very reaonable rate (About $40) I believe taylored to the specs you mention. I don't know if it will be offered on this model but if so it seems like it would be a great asset. I shoot PRVI 75grn Match almost exclusively out of my Dennys Recon barreled AR and I would love to have a BDC taylored to the rifle and load.
Here's the system I'm talking about.
Having a distance for each bar would take a lot of thinking out of the shooting equation.
