Thread: Son of a b@*$#

I just got a PWS muzzle device with the YHM can mount from AIM. I went to put it on my SBR and everything was going fine till I tried to tighten it down. Aperently I torqued a little to hard casue the barrel started rotating. I stripped it all down and found that I sheared off the indexing pin on the barrel extension. I guess I'll stop by the gunsmiths tomorrow and see if he can fix it.

Heres a question while I'm here. I'm thinking about having him blind pin the muzzle device while he has it. I'm running a DD omega (2 piece) rail so I can still install and take it off no problem. I would hate to have the suppressor mount back off on my though or get the thing hot and try unscrewing the can, only to have the mount come off with it. Anyone think this is a bad idea?

Rockset is your friend .... I have yet to have mine come off even after abusing it.

What if in the future you want to change barrels? Then ya gotta buy a new one. Rockset it and forget it.

and around here we change ar setups the way my girls used to change barbie cloths! so dont do anything you cant undo.
